The IVI Foundation and its member companies have extensively tested the IVI and VISA shared components with Microsoft Windows 7.

The tests were conducted with the following versions:

  • IVI Shared Components version 2.0, released 6/25/2009, both the 32-bit and 64-bit version
  • VISA Shared Component version 1.2, released 6/25/2009, both the 32-bit and 64-bit version
No significant issues were found. If possible, we would recommend upgrading your IVI Shared Components version from 1.2.1 to 2.x.
